April 2024 | Earth Day
The April playlist is inspired by Earth Day. It explores the theme of Earth, its characteristics, energy, symbols, power, and its impact on humanity and the human spirit. This theme has been a timeless subject in art, particularly in music, spanning from classical compositions in the early 1800s to 70s indie rock bands that embraced the early environmental movements. Artists expressed concerns about Earth's evolution, human behavior towards it, and fears of its vengeance or ultimate destruction through their sounds and lyrics. The playlist spans decades, featuring the unique contributions of Vangelis (Vangelis Papathanassiou), who notably connected music not only with Earth but also with the beyond. Starting and ending with Vangelis' the playlist reflects the passionate exploration of Earth and everything that defines or accompanies it.

Whether exploring the music history of Buena Vista Social Club or collaborating with the renowned contemporary choreographer Pina Bausch, Wenders has continually pushed the boundaries of storytelling through sound. Today, his masterpiece of aesthetics and narrative, ``Perfect Days,`` marks his return to the big screen.
February 2024 | Human Nature
February's playlist, delves into the depths of human nature's complexity, exploring vulnerability and emotional healing. It functions as a sort of self-session, a reflection session. It offers a deep contemplation on the fragility of our emotions and relationships with others. Ultimately, it seeks ways to fortify our walls. As the Tindersticks say, 'Find a way to be whole again'... The playlist starts with an indie rock approach, then incorporates folk rock elements, and leads into more experimental sounds before returning to its initial rock vibe. The reason being that these three genres, along with freestyle hip-hop which wasn't included, are the ones through which their representatives have expressed their deepest emotions, reflections, and sensitivities.
